When Vodka Meets Action: Dolph Lundgren at Broadway Spirits

On June 7th, Tribeca got a taste of Hollywood and high-quality spirits as Dolph Lundgren—legendary action star and founder of Hard Cut Vodka—hosted an in-store bottle signing and tasting at Broadway Spirits.

And the turnout? Over 150 fans in just two hours.

People lined up down the block for a chance to meet him, sip his vodka, and walk away with a signed bottle.

🥃 What Is Hard Cut Vodka?

Created by Dolph Lundgren and distilled in Idaho, Hard Cut Vodka is made from premium russet potatoes and Rocky Mountain water—a deliberate choice by Lundgren to make a vodka that was bold, smooth, and not boring.

Tasting notes include:

  • Aroma: Green apple, roasted potato, and light butterscotch
  • Taste: Creamy texture with notes of sourdough, vanilla, and pear
  • Finish: Clean, smooth, and surprisingly easy for 90-proof

✨ Why This Vodka Hits Hard (in a good way)

Dolph brought more than just celebrity power—he brought a vodka that can stand up to any premium pour on the shelf. Inspired by his background in chemical engineering and refined by expert distillers, Hard Cut is:

  • Double Gold Medal Winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition
  • Distilled six times for clarity and texture
  • Designed to be sipped neat or mixed into a high-end cocktail

  • The store was packed wall-to-wall from 1 to 3 PM, with a steady stream of excited fans until the final minute.
